Scheduling & Ordering Your Bicycle Tour

Order Your Tour as Early as Possible ...

To ensure availability of accommodations, we recommend purchasing your Diverse Directions tour as far in advance as possible. For regular season tours, four to six weeks advance purchase is recommended. We can often accommodate customers in as few as 5 to 10 days, however.

For foliage season and holiday-week tours, a minimum 60-day advance purchase is strongly encouraged.

Acceptance and confirmation of tour purchases is contingent upon the availability of the accommodations you have chosen when ordering your tour. Notification of the status of your order will be emailed to you no later than the end of the first business day following the date of your order.

Deposits & Payments...

For tours ordered more than 60 days in advance, a deposit equal to 25% of the total amount due is payable upon our confirmation of the order. Deposits are non-refundable. Balances are due 60 days prior to the tour's start date.

For tours ordered less than 60 days in advance, the total amount due is payable upon our confirmation of the order. We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Our Tour Schedule ...

Our Vermont tour season begins May 1 and ends October  31. Tours may begin any day of the week.

Fall Foliage and Holiday Week Tours ...

While the price of your Diverse Directions tour package is the same regardless of your tour dates, the price of overnight accommodations may be higher during holiday weekends and the fall foliage season. In addition, most inns, B&Bs, and campgrounds impose a 2-night minimum stay requirement for holiday weekends and foliage season.

Placing your Order ...

To order your tour, you'll need to complete our online Tour Order Form. The online Tour Order Form is secure, fast and easy to complete. Before completing the online Order Form, please identify your first, second and third choice accommodation options for each overnight destination (See Accommodations Page for options).

Acceptance and confirmation of purchase orders is contingent upon the availability of the accommodations you have chosen when ordering your tour. Notification of the status of your order will be emailed to you no later than the end of the first business day following the date of your order.

Following our confirmation of your order, your Tour Documentation Package will be assembled and mailed to you and either your deposit or payment in-full will be charged to your credit card.

Our Cancellation Policy ...

For cancellations received more than 60 days before the tour's scheduled start date, the participant will receive a refund of any amount paid in excess of the deposit paid.

For cancellations received 60 to 31 days before a tour's scheduled start date, the participant will receive a refund of the amount paid to date, less the required deposit amount and a $100 per person administration and handling fee.

For cancellations received 30 or fewer days before a tour's scheduled start date (including no shows), the participant will receive no refund of the amount paid.

The Diverse Directions Cancellation Policy does NOT apply to your accommodation reservations. Though we will cancel reservations made on your behalf, you will be subject to the cancellation policies of your individual innkeepers.

Though Diverse Directions customers enjoy a large degree of flexibility in scheduling their tours we STRONGLY recommend that travel arrangements NOT be finalized until you have received your Order Confirmation from us.
