Vermont accommodations on the Rock River in Newfane, Vermont The warmth & charm of a Vermont B&B,
the privacy of a hotel, and lots of fun on the river Just 9 miles from Brattleboro, Vermont
Welcome to the Rock River Lodge, a gay guesthouse
located next to the pristine Rock River in beautiful southern Vermont. Renovated
early 2011, the lodge has one guestroom with private, en-suite bath, and two
guestrooms with a shared bath. Common areas include a full kitchen, a large
living / dining room, and a covered front porch. There is an easy path down to
the river and swimming hole, and lots of outdoor spaces where you can soak in
the sun or just sit, relax and drink in the beauty.
The Rock River Lodge is owned by the former hosts of the Newfane Woods Guest
Suite, which closed at the end of 2009. The lodge is just 5 minutes from the
former guest suite and is immediately adjacent to southern Vermont's most
popular gay gathering place for nude sunbathing, swimming, and socializing.
We'll provide you with hiking instructions from the Lodge to the appropriate
spot on the river.
The Rock River Lodge opens Thursday, May 26, 2011.
