Our southern Vermont tour itineraries offer cycling enthusiasts a unique opportunity to experience quintessential
Vermont up close and personal. You'll begin and end your tour in lively Brattleboro, Vermont's southern gateway, known for its passion for the arts and funky live-and let-live ethos. And, while on the road, you'll delight in the
feeling you've stepped into a picture perfect postcard.
While our tours center around Windham County, Vermont, the reach of our tours
extends into equally beautiful and historic portions of the county's neighboring
states. Our Berkshire Foothills Tour,
for example, includes portions of Massachusetts' historic Pioneer Valley with
its well-conceived network of bike routes and bike paths. And across the mighty
Connecticut River, our Historic River Valley Tours (3-stage
with Chester, 3-stage with Grafton,
& 4-stage versions) include lovely and
historic portions of New Hampshire's Cheshire County.

Bike Touring Formats
Diverse Directions offers cyclists a choice of two touring formats:
Circuit Tours and Hub & Spoke Tours. Tour itineraries of the Circuit Tour format are
for those who wish to cycle to a different overnight destination daily (with the exception of
optional rest days.) For travelers preferring to limit the frequency with which they change hotels, our Hub & Spoke Tours
include 2 base locations (hubs) from which you make multiple roundtrip cycling excursions (spokes.)
